Even though our coated terrace fireplaces are equipped with a heat-resistant and rustproof coating, experience has shown that such outdoor products will rust sooner or later. As a result of weather influences and heating/cooling, the coating will be affected. You can touch it up with the supplied aerosol heat-resistant paint. The extent and speed of oxidation depends on whether the stove is placed under a roof or is exposed to weather, wind and rain. To prevent/delay the formation of rust, the stove should therefore be placed somewhere dry.

The STIG has a heat-resistant, rust-proof coating. To minimise the impact of weather conditions on the STIG outdoor fireplace, we recommend placing it under a canopy or shelter. Some rusting may unavoidably occur over time due to exposure to the elements.

  • Steel is very robust, hard-wearing, low-maintenance and durable.
  • Fireplace dimensions (LxWxH): 500x500x1000 mm.
  • This fireplace is not delivered with a door as standard. The door can be ordered separately.
  • Double-walled firebox
  • The fireplace has provision for adding a barbecue grill. The grill can be ordered separately. (Item number BAC7.) Our BBQ grills are tested and SGS certified.
  • Does not include flue pipe or rain cap.
    • Always place the outdoor fireplace on a flat, heat-resistant, stable surface.
    • To minimise the impact of weather conditions on the STIG outdoor fireplace, we recommend placing it under a canopy or shelter. 
    • Use one wall bracket per metre of flue pipe or use a roof duct.
    • Pay close attention to the diameter of any accessories you order. For this fireplace, they should be 154 mm.
    • Products should be unpacked immediately upon receipt to release any moisture trapped inside the packaging. If the product is left in its packaging, it may develop uneven rust patches.
    • The guarantee is void if the product is drilled, sanded or scoured in a manner other than prescribed.
    • Clean annually by hosing off dirt with clean tap water.
    • If necessary, treat any areas that have dulled or developed rust with a coating such as our Heat-Resistant Spray Paint RAL 9005 black.
